Harry Potter

Watched Harry Potter last night at fancy pants Gunwharf. Good stuff - but Hermione can't act.

Been tested for fancy new glasses - square frames - wooooooooo. New glasses arriving on Wednesday - woo hooo!

And - bashed my head on recycling bin last week - attempting to get an old magazine out to varnish a chair. wow That really p1ssed me off!

Almost finished Christmas shopping - this must be some kind of record. Even written my Christmas cards.

Santa next Saturday with mates and then off North to visit my folks.

blue princesses

I took DD to a birthday party yesterday. She was dressed as a blue princess. It turned out that 5 girls were dressed as blue princesses - and very pretty they all looked! Then we jetted off to DHs parents for the night.

Harry POtter film out next weekend - got the babysitter sorted!

costa coffee

Sitting here with wet hair. Been racing around like a maniac today. Dropped DD off at school. Sahed off to meet a mate at a service station on the motorway. What a delightful place to meet! It was my choice of venue though. The big advantage was that it had Costa coffee. I'm turning into a coffee shop junky - all happened since I quit drinking - I appreciate coffee far more!

Dashed home - picked up DD from school at drove up to swimming. Gawd she is awful at it! She does not listen to the instructions AT ALL. she just splaces around and shouts whilst all the other kids listen to the instructor.

Fireworks and bonfires

Sunday night. Last week we got back to routine - back to school and swimming lessons. Popped in to see DDs little friends in a nearby village. This weekend we went up to Gloucestershire to stay with some more friends with 3 children. We took the kids to the local bonfire night and it was spectacular - amazing fireworks. DD was great - though by the end of it she said the noise was "making my ears bleed"!!

Weather's crap and windy and rainy. Cleared Cyril out as it was chucking it down!
