Lucy had her nativity today. We both took the afternoon off work to go and see her being a sheep. Very important role. We turned up at St James church about 45 minutes early to make sure we got seats!
She was fantastic. But we couldn't take photos because its not allowed anymore. She dressed up again at home though - and here she is.
We had good fun at Paultons last Sunday. We took all our waterproofs in case of torrential rain but it was a lovely day in the end. We went on all the rides - Lucy is just tall enough to get onto the Cobra (rollercoaster) and the big "Jumping Bean" ride. AND she didn't cry at Santa this year :)

The 3 of us went off to Southamton today to do the Sports Relief mile - its was great fun - Lucy really enjoyed it - AND she ran most of it - honestly. She's only 4. What a star. She did finish it on her daddy's shoulders though!

Anyway. Phoned their customer services and no-one picks up the phone. SO need to rant somewhere.
TOYS R US are a steaming great pile of useless, moronic, wankers.
Especially the Manager at Portsmouth.

We've just been to the New Forest for the night - this is photo of both of us at the hotel - very nice. fancied a sophisticated night away after the joys of Butlins a couple of weeks ago. Stayed in The Burley Inn. Not bad - would go back - £80 for a king size room and they put up a bed for Lucy with us too. Went for a walk and got lost - Lucy was not so amused....
Anyway - run time yesterday morning - 33mins 18 secs again - not been yet today...

Yesterday 33mins 13secs
Today 33mins 18 secs
Previously I've been doing it in around 36 mins.

We've done the train, the shipyard and soft play at Jolly Jack Tars.... We're only on Wednesday of a 2 week holiday - I think we're doing well :)
Washing machine is knackered.
What else - well we have a new carpet. This does not fit with Lucy playing with poster paints in the kitchen right this instant - oh dear.
Mum & Dad visiting tomorrow.
Running going well - can run 30 mins without hassle.

I've been working on my very own SEO Friendly Static Text Link Directory. I have one up and running - sort of - at http://www.seo-sage.co.uk/links/index-0.html It is in ASP on windows IIS which is hard to get hold of free scripts for SO - if you're here because you're interested in running free ASP directory scripts on your server - send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get it to you.

Oooooooooooo. Mostly a sick one. Stayed with friends at Xmas. Fell off the wagon for the festive season - we all drank too much - except Lucy obviously. Played Eye toy games and went to bed at 3am. None of us were very human xmas day though our hosts very remarkably managed to cook.
Ed then got sick for the next two days and spent those in bed. By new year he'd recovered and we managed to stay up til midnight watching "Wedding Crashers" and "40 year old virgin". New Years day - both of us pretty ok but then the in laws arrived - we did a big present thing then set about the alcohol again and that wrote me off the next day all over again - but this time I'd got a cold with it - spent the next two days in bed. Spent the last 3 days staggereing around trying to be human - but been in bed by 8pm every night.
Anyway - it WAS a good festive season - but just a bit of a sick one!
