Green caps

Tommy and Lottie have just moved up to green caps in swimming. I am very proud of them and they are very proud of themselves too!

A swimming pool perhaps..

Yesterday we went to Bournemouth to try out a swimming pool.... We all rather liked it at think we might get one installed. Today, we went to the cinema to watch Tarzan, then tried the Heavy Horse show down at the sea front. We even paid our first visit of the year to the southsea splashpark. Tomorrow it's a trip to the skip and then maybe a family swimming pool visit.

Out comes the paddling pool

Hospital with Lottie....

The eye infection turned out to be a skin infection caused by a blocked tear duct. She needed IV antibiotics to clear it up... So 3 days of hospital.

Eternal antibiotics

The children have had a lot of bad luck with infections the last couple of months. Tommy had a skin infection, eye infections and an ear infection, all requiring antibiotics. Lottie had scarlet fever and now preseptal cellulitis whic is a nasty eye inflammation. She had it when she was one I remember while we were on holiday and we had to come back to see the emergency doctor. It seems to be very painful and looks awful. I hope the antibiotics start working soon.
